Questions about Templates

What is a template in Prescene?
A template is a reusable definition that turns an analyzed script, series, or season into a durable document or table. Prescene includes ready-made templates, and Pro, Max, and Team customers can build their own.
Can I edit what a template creates?
Yes. Template documents and tables open as editable artifacts with autosave, history, and saved versions. Coverage is a separate standardized evaluation, and its reports stay locked.
What can I export?
Documents can be downloaded as PDF or Word, copied as text, or opened in Google Docs. Tables can be downloaded as Excel or CSV, copied as text, or opened in Google Sheets.
Can I build my own template?
Yes, on every plan. Choose a document or table, decide whether it applies to a script or a series, then define the rows, columns, sections, instructions, and optional style examples Prescene should follow.
Do template results stay connected to the script?
Yes. A generated artifact records the exact source version behind it. When the script moves forward, Prescene can show that the artifact is out of date and offer to update eligible results from the newer version.
